Context: We conducted a survey asking the community to describe the utility, community, and their experiences with the Chiru Labs team as an Azuki, Beanz, or Bobu holder. Here are their responses:

As an Azuki holder I have had the privilege to make connections with incredibly smart and talented people. Some of these individuals decided they wanted to help start VIB3 with me back in August. (@DELAjusjus, @SunwayIKZ, @0xNamco, @EKC_DAO)

The Azuki community is full of builders and people wanting to help. The Azuki team has also been extremely generous with their time and connections to help projects like VIB3. The community is like no other, we truly want to see everyone succeed.

Despite technology being the main focus of web3, many seem to underestimate the power of a community, which is what holding an Azuki, Beanz, or even Bobu offers. Just by holding any of those NFTs, you become part of something larger than yourself, not just part of a project, but part of a family. The community is so close knitted that some of them even feel closer than the friends in web2 whom I consider are close.

On top of that, the Chiru Labs team has proven themselves time and time again and stayed true to the tagline “dope shit only” which is apparent in every single banger of a product they release. They’ve never stopped working closely with the community and are always attentive to feedback to better understand their holders needs and wants.

Since holding an Azuki, my life has never been the same. I’m so grateful for being able to experience this journey alongside likeminded individuals and I’m super excited for what the future holds for the team and all of us who walk with them. IKZ.

Being part of Azuki is a utility! I started building with my IP just for fun and to hopefully bring more awareness for my brand and Azuki. I received so much support from the Azuki community! Azuki developed Garden Caretakers for holders building with their IP! They help with development of your IP in so many ways.

Zennny Pop started from dirt. Airdropped by Z & in NYC met with @0xNamco & told him my idea & we clicked as friends and also business partners. We both own half of the business. Zenny is still owned by me. Demographic insights about Chiru Labs holders

In total, there are 14,470 unique blockchain wallets that own one or more Chiru Labs assets in 2023 (excluding overlaps). In other words, the wallets own an Azuki, Beanz, or Bobu.

Context: We conducted an analysis of all 4,944 Azuki holders to provide demographic insights into the typical user’s wallet. To account for the presence of significant outliers or ‘whales’ in the data set, we opted to display median values instead of the average.

The Top 50 Azuki holders

The 50 wallets with the highest number of Azuki NFTs own 2,403 out of 10,000 (24%) of the entire collection. This concentration is quite dangerous as a few individuals could single-handedly move the market price.

Other Major NFT collections Azuki holders own

A significant amount of Azuki holders also have investments in other web3 ecosystems like RTFKT and Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Wallet age of Azuki holders

Most of the wallets that own an Azuki were created during the NFT bull run between 2021 and 2022. The median age for the 4,944 unique wallets is 407 days since creation.
